The Hypnotic Gate is a PSI ability that allows the user to put their target into a never ending sleep-state that they cannot be awoken from. If you use it on another player, Hypnotic Gate will hack them, make him hemorrhage and will give him a random madness for free! (very annoying power if used in coop-mode)
How to unlock it[]
When you confront your mentor at the end of chapter 11(Mars) you can choose to slay him and continue your service to the commander, after which you'll be sent on a mission. At the end of the mission you will learn a shocking surprise and upon returning to HQ (cc_dreams)you will meet a Carnophage that teaches you this power.
