The research interface as seen in the game.

Researchable technologies are made available by picking up research briefcases dropped from human enemies. Research items are also made available by completing other research items. To find out how to unlock each research have a look at the research tree.

BasicsEdit

Research can be conducted from the Research screen, which requires both time and brouzouf. The Scientists slider allows the player to spend more brouzouf to decrease research time.

The precise reward for any particular research item is not shown until research is complete. Rewards can include various increased character stats, new weapons or abilities made available for purchase, immunity to diverse injuries, and other benefits (see the table below for details).

The medkit technology makes the medkit item available from mobile armories immediately, without having to purchase it.

1 hour in-game is 9-11 real-world seconds (1 day is 3-4.5 minutes).[1]
